When I accepted the position of president for 2014, I could never have guessed what this year had in store for the organization.  It has been quite a year: a year with some surprises and a number of changes as we assessed how and where we needed to adjust for long-term sustainability.  While the board and I were admittedly uncertain at the time about the impact of some of the ramifications of decisions that we had to make, with the amazing groundswell of board and volunteer support, this was ultimately a year of positive success.

End of Board Term: After 7 years of UXPA board service, both with the Washington DC chapter and then for UXPA International, I am retiring from the board when my term ends on December 31 to pursue some new UX adventures.  As this year draws to a close, I’d like to take the opportunity to recap this year to let you know both what has been happening with UXPA and where we are headed in 2015.
